Peter and the Starcatcher is a fun romp through the origin story of Peter Pan, as he travels from England to the fantastic world of Neverland.

The principle of direction and design was the idea of  “children at play,” with the actors telling a story with whatever was on hand as they roamed through an imaginary world. This take allowed for creativity in materials and items, with each of these “toys” coming out of versatile chests that also formed scenery and place.

One of my favorite pieces from this show was the many chests and trunks, which were built in-house.
